Slate’s electric pickup will have an online configurator with a wide range of customization options (Instagram @slateauto)
Slate Auto has launched a simple and affordable electric pickup, available in three body styles.
Without an infotainment system or standard speakers, the model can be customized through an online configurator, where users can choose from 25 starter packages, such as the basic Blank Slate or flashier options like Vintage and Lucky 77. It’s also possible to freely build the pickup by selecting various customization items.
The vehicle doesn’t offer traditional paint: customers choose from different types of wraps, with matte, satin, or glossy finishes, along with 80s-inspired graphics and special kits like Mud Master and Snow Dog.
There is also a variety of exterior accessories, including side steps, spare tire mounts, bumper guards, and nine grille designs, as well as 17- or 20-inch wheels that can be further customized.
Inside, the Truck offers two seat color combinations and several options for dashboard, door, and interior trim finishes. Items such as speakers, power windows, and personalized keychains can also be added.
Although the number of options is not yet infinite, the company plans to expand its customization offerings if the model gains popularity.
